My first Jaguar. And I sound soooo good. Somehow, with a 58 Deluxe via a Marshall and a treble booster I get Page's sound (The Ocean)...

That's a cool Jaguar - what colour did it start out as?

It must have been Olympic White.
By the way, does anybody know where to get one of the three switches WITH srews that have the same size as the original ones?

I believe the screws for the selector switches are #4-10 machine screws in 1/4" length, but if you need the switch + the screws, there are a number of sellers on ebay selling them.

#1 looks a lot like stock Ocean Turquoise Metallic to me. But I see lots of faded LPB guitars that look very similar, so it really gets confusing.

I have a mid-90's special edition Strat in OTM, and it is truly spectacular. But there agian, I bought it in a smoky little shop on the west side of Tokyo, so it probaby doesn't look the way it did when it left the factory anyway.

Not an ugly finish but I'm confused about it. Was this warping caused by arm wear or bad painting?

I actually quite like that dribbly paint one!

My Electric XII is a mess (has been since I got it) but compared to some of those posted here just looks dirty!

The finish around the lower bout looks like it's been too close to a fire, although you can't really see from the pics. Maybe I should do some more.

Ah so you are the one who beat me on eBay for that! Congratulations, it looks great!

Sorry, no help regarding screws...

If I saw THAT in my local shop I'd be all over it. Did you try it out? The most interesting thing about it is that the humbucker is tilted, which people don't think to do when they put humbuckers in these. Wonder how it would affect the tone?

Here's a 67 Ice Blue, gone bottle green, Jag I sold a couple of years back.
Wierd orig black tolex case on this one. It was very thick/deep. At least 50% more than standard. Wish I still had a pic. Enjoy.

I actually dig this combo - You ought to leave it like this. Maybe chuck a cigarette in that little channel. For some reason, 90% of the PG-less Teles I see have this. I reckon it's because BFG did it...

But yeah, def crank CAR paint-guard 8)
