Wierd orig black tolex case on this one. It was very thick/deep. At least 50% more than standard. Wish I still had a pic. Enjoy.

No, didn't go and saw it in person. Might do though..XF6YH wrote:If I saw THAT in my local shop I'd be all over it. Did you try it out? The most interesting thing about it is that the humbucker is tilted, which people don't think to do when they put humbuckers in these. Wonder how it would affect the tone?

That looks amazing- it looks to have a mile-deep, 3-D look to it (at least the pic makes it look that way).Bloke on the water wrote:

I really doubt anyone would pay that for my hand, it's pretty crappy.

+ 1 on the blue JM !!! Looks amazing - also the way the pickguard has faded. I guess a gold anodized pickguard would also suit very well on a sonic blue JM...

So, did you buy it?Jazzprod wrote:A Mustang in a local shop:

Had my eyes on it for a few weeks before your post (I live in Stockholm Sweden, that's where it was) but when I finally decided to buy it, it was gone. Not that I'm all that sad about missing out on it, made me buy this gorgeous all original Dakota Red instead, for the same money. But still.

You and me both then! Not much comfort perhaps, but I really like the original bridge pickup, especially when coupled with the neck pup out of phase, so the one I got instead probably sounds better. But, boy, does it look cool!Andreas N wrote:I was gonna buy that one but sadly I was too late.

Yeah it looks awesome.
have you tried the white '63 jag they have in there now?
It looks pretty cool but I don't have any possibility to go try it out.

The "crazy deal"? Yeah, tried it for a couple of minutes, but I don't know enough about Jags to say if it's a good one. And it wasn't set up when I tried it. Bought a 1963 JM there though and the guy in the store set it up beautifully for me. He knows his offsets.Andreas N wrote:slirak wrote:You and me both then!
