Such nice, helpful people and they all own such beautiful guitars.
I feel like I belong here, just based on the fact that I listen to the same music as most of the people here(found that out in the the music discussion section).
I think about this place while I'm at school.
It's silly but, I dream about jazzmasters!
Just hope I'm not annoying anybody here...

Re: It's Here! '58 Jazzmaster... YAY!
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I tuned it up and made some adjustments, and I really like the way it plays. I got the action low, but there's no fretting out or buzzing. It feels funny to hold an offset body, but have a long neck on it. I guess I was just so used to my Jag...
It sounds good, bright when I want it, dark and full when I want it. Everything works perfectly and it's quiet.
I'm very happy. The inside was rougher than I expected but it's pretty well all straightened out now.

You pay attention in school, young man! How do you expect to afford copious amounts of Offsets if you neglect your education?I think about this place while I'm at school.

Thanks Frank!
It's not very collectible with the refin and routs, but I sure like it. Kind of a "budget" way to get into a first-year JM.

...and let us not forget that gold guard '58s are rarer than gold guard '59s

Just beautiful, Doug. They did a pretty good job on those gold guard repros .. give it a couple of years to wear in and it'll look just right.
Now will you keep hold of this one please!
