New member and new lefty guitar day

Post by Rick W » Thu Oct 30, 2014 11:38 am

Hi guys,
I just joined and have enjoyed what I have been reading here. I'm a lefty and have been playing for about 45 years. I wanted to show off the guitar that I bought this morning. I've seached for one like this for years. It should arrive next week. Here's pics from the seller. It's a '65, one owner with original strap and case candy. I'm very stoked to get my hands on the guitar!

Thanks guys! I have more pics, but my first picture only shows half the guitar. Do pics have to be a certain size?

Stunning Rick, as a fellow lefty, that's pretty awesome :)

Funny, lefty players look odd to me too... So used to watching righty's.

Looks gorgeous! This might be a dumb question...Is the righty trem unit the original? Only made them one orientation back then?

Thanks apres. Yes, all the old lefties have righty trems. Reissues have the correct tailpiece.

Only the Japanese Jazzmasters, there is no USA made trem which is why I have a wrong one on my Jazzmaster, too.

Gorgeous guitar, congrats! :)
