Man these things are so cool. One of the main influences on my Paramour Model design.

If we must. ;D
Here's my 67 SG-2 hanging out with its offset brethren:

I always wanted a white one or a red one but the sunburst is really nicely done. You'll notice the 'Yamaha' logo on the headstock is block letters (same as Gavanti's), not the script logo as shown in the catalogue. Antisymmetric's newly acquired 66 has the script logo.
I've got the original Yamaha strap, too. Probably should have taken a pic with that on it. :fp:

That's quite the trio! What you said about the sunburst- I'm the same, it wasn't what I had in mind for first choice, but I'm more than happy with it, the mint guard works so well against the burst (beginning to sound like one of these vintage Fender corksniffer types... ) ;)

Yeah. I really love the mint on white on the SG-3, but I kind of favor mint on SB on the SG-2. That trio is insane, Horsey Boy. It's hard to find a design that upstages an SG, but then there's that Harvester again :? . I wonder if the script logo was just on the '66 models. My block script is '67 like yours. I'll add a tributes and influenced by section at the top, which would include Paul's gorgeous Paramour, Theworkoffire's tributes, the Faction Electric Scout.

Ben (theworkoffire) has a Yamaha SG body hanging in his workshop that is just waiting to be finished off.

I'm pretty sure he has most, if not all of the hardware & might just need to make a neck.
