isn't it! I love seeing work like that. Super respectful to the integrity of a neck that most people would have chucked in the bin

in fairness to this guy, i got mixed up and thought he'd been deleting negative posts but they were in a separate threadMechaBulletBill wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2019 10:13 amHe's started a thread over on thefretboard. Seems to bit a bit lighter on the criticism then a few hours ago. Presumably, he's editing his facebook thread as well.

I consider myself a sort of fan of one of those people, and I'd still buff his autograph off that, because if I wanted his autograph that badly I could get it on a signed photo for about 10 dollars off ebay. An autograph of someone who's heyday is decade ago, from now, in sharpie isn't really desirable.

Re: "Why did you do it? Why did you do this thing to me?"
I kinda felt sad reading that. It has absolutely no value outside of being anything but a family heirloom. If my grandfather built that guitar I'd probably think it was cool that he did, and a nice window to his mind in the 60s, and I'd want to hang on to it for the memories even it's completely garbage.
So either he's that hard up or he really just doesn't care about it.

This. It should at least have some sentimental value to him, I thought. To him, it should be more than just valueless wood with a nice pickup...
