I just cracked up at that. Oh man, I hope he finds someone to buy it, cause I sure as hell wouldn't. It says someone already has it in their cart, I wonder if he has it in his own cart, trying to artificially inflate the demand/make it look like someone is gonna buy it from under you...will wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 5:24 pmFlorida man builds a guitar:

I mean, it's also not impossible that the story is just false to get more money out of a woodshop project. It seems like it might be genuine, but online, you never know.

Never has a guitar brought me so much laughter. I thought about your statement about the guitar reaching for a hug. Then I thought what if some of my favorite artists rocked this and I thought about the live performance....Jeez what a great guitar. I give it two thumbs upwill wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 5:24 pmFlorida man builds a guitar:

Yeah, I was thinking that it’s a cutdown job I’ve seen in a few Strats before. I, however, find Strats attractive in their natural state.Sauerkraut wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 1:59 pmhappens all the timesir h c wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 5:05 pmPray it is not vintage, but another Voxed Fender.

If a Strat doesn't feel comfortable, no guitar will.

Another weird thing about it is that the burst looks absolutely perfect and really well executed while the shape of the guitar is as wonky as it can get. Maybe the story is even more sad and grandaddy built the guitar precisely after drawings of the seller or his mom or dad when they were 3 years old or so.will wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 5:24 pmFlorida man builds a guitar:

Yeah, they're fine. I was just trolling really. Although if there's anything I don't like about Strats it's that they're too small for my taste. This particular mod does very little to alleviate that.countertext wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 7:32 pmYeah, I was thinking that it’s a cutdown job I’ve seen in a few Strats before.
