Thanks all. None of those pictures are clear enough to see where the braided ground shielding goes. But I have a feeling with all things from that era, it's hardly consistent.

Anyhow, here's a proper photograph, will add more and a write up in time. Still need to get the electronics and a proper set up under control.

+1 on that thought, not to even mention the many projects here were we have all learnt something in the process and then used that one our own projects.

just find someone who repairs luggage. They'll know what to do. Member 'dain' had his VI case repaired by a luggage & case repair shop in LA and it came out nice I thought...

Just cruising the offset vintage restorations and came across this wild one. Bass VI's are incredible and the masterful bringing back to life of this beauty was amazing to see. Hope this inca silver dream is getting used as much as possible. Cheers on a one-of-a-kind project.
