So it is a king a delated NGD,
I bought this beauty some month ago...
It was dirt cheap because of the issues: missing a pickup, no bridge, the neck needs work etc...
So first of all I reglued the fretbord using the "forcing steam method (thanks Sleepkid for the advice!).
Before:
After:
Then, planned the fretboard, refret, fret works etc... I didn't take pictures.
Put an old Elk pickup for the missing bridge one (thanks again to Sleepkid^^).
And IT PLAYS NOW !!
I love it, the shape is crazy and elegant as I like, the neck is perfectly slim and it sounds crazy.
My local luthier will take care of the original neck pu.
Playing a restored electric guitar is an amazing feeling!!

The neck is great. It may require some work, depend on the condition, but it is good. The body seems to be laminated woods, very light. The pickups are high output, more in the mosrite kind. The bridge is the weak point, mine was missing so I put a Stewart one and drilled for the inserts on the body and tremolo tailpiece. The shape is great, at least, I like it.Pacafeliz wrote:I think my brother has a smashed one of these laying around... Should I ask for parts?
You should ask for it and see what is doable, save it ^^

Oh, I missunderstood.
That is very nice of you, Pacafeliz!
I 've never thought that I could find some original piece for this one... but yeah, sure, I will be happy to pair the pickups or find some other original pieces.
Let me know what he's got and the price he wants for them.
But make sure first, that he or someone else on the forum daesn't want to restore it before parting it out.
