Re: Un-Voxing a butchered 1961 Jazzmaster project
So, finally this is almost done - there are a few tweaks to do still, and a final buffing due once the paint decides to be totally totally dry in a year or so.
I used my funky wiring diagram - for some reason, the humbucker cuts out when "both" pickups are selected with the 3-way switch and the S1 is set to "parallel."
Pictures!

Perfection! Another notch in your belt! That color is pretty great too. Reminds me of a blue-r version of the AVRI Sherwood Green in some of the pics.

And Leo is looking down and grinning.
His entire MO was for working musicians to be able to keep their guitars working by using modular construction. I think you have proved his point a few times over.

I think Leo’s actual philosophy was: “You don’t have to repair anything, just buy a new body” Obviously no one here thinks that applies, so awesome job
King Buzzo: I love when people come up to me and say “Your guitar sound was better on Stoner Witch, when you used a Les Paul. “...I used a Fender Mustang reissue on that, dumbass!

12-step program.

Okay - now the wiring works! I just needed to swap the wires at the thumbwheel pots like so -
