Should I refin my 63 Teisco SS4L ???
Here’s what it looks like now. I restored the electronics years ago and had it refretted.
It’s obvious that someone played the shit out of it.
Should I leave it as is or refinish it black?
I’ve always wanted a Black one but I know people like mOjO. These things have jumped up in value and it might help the resale value for certain buyers…
What say you?

Leave it for sure. It's only original once, and the wear looks superb.

Forget mojo, that faded sunburst is one of the most beautiful color ways I know of. Harkens back to vintage arch tops and early Jazzmaster. Just a stunning piece of work, and don’t forget the matching headstock and neck! What a cool piece!
