I took lessons on it and my guitar teacher was the first to show me the date by removing the neck. he then tried to trade me a Gibson SG for it but I said no because of the sentimental value. it is 100% original and in complete working order with the original case. Any ideas what something like this would be worth? I played it in bands throughout college and never really considered it may be rare. any help would be appreciated.
My guess, somewhere north of six grand. There are many variables though. You should get it professionally appraised, many people use Gruhn Guitars in Nashville - I am not sure if they will appraise from photos though.
