Stumpy...is not Stumpy anymore.
So some of you may remember stumpy from way back in the day. Originally from Canada, then went overseas, then came back here where it went back and forth between Massachusetts and Colorado.
I ended up with it again after doing another "pass around the guitar" with Sonichris and immediately sent it to Telliot to put the horns back on (after all, he did a great job with Dougs tele).
After Telliot was finish putting the horns back on it was on it's way to Doug (Fullerplast) who is in the process of painting it.
I have a lot more pictures than the ones below but I only have time right now to post a few. I'll continue to post outdated pictures of the process.

Wow, that was a long time ago...
I still can't figure out why anyone would have done that.
Really weird.
Anyway, glad it's getting fixed.

I've been to one World's Fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing i ever heard come out a pair of headphones.

Re: Stumpy...is not Stumpy anymore.
have you put some dowell between the body and and the new part ?
cause if not it will break easyly ,end grain of wood are not good gluing thing
if it is not too late i advise you to put some

Unfortunately I didn't think to take any pics during that stage, but yes. I ground the stumps to a nice flat and fixed a dowel into the body before gluing the new pieces on.ludobag1 wrote:have you put some dowell between the body and and the new part ?

The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.
