Yes. From the beginning, some of us had some problems with the thread. I mean, what's the argument for dividing people with guitars into separate groups and then making threads about those groups? Do we really want a "Ecuadorians with Offsets", "Homosexuals with Offsets", etc. thread? Of course, there would be ONE argument to have a "girls with offsets/guitars" thread, and that would be that we're a bunch of sad men who like to ogle women on the internet. Of course we're not

So yeah, the recent incident in the "girls with guitars" thread prompted us to lock both that thread and this one.

You're more than welcome to post that pic in the "favourite offset players" thread though

Serious - I think there are a lot of more disturbing threads than the "girls..." thread. And if the mods don't want anyone to

over things - then maybe the

smiley should be the thing that should be locked....

The main "problem" may be that this type of forum ALWAYS attracts 99,99% male and 0,01% female people...and acceptance by quotas wouldn't be that great Idea, or? :-\ ( I wouldn't become a member until year 2127 or so...)

Anyway, I prefer the

before the

when it comes to express positive feelings for guitars/gear/girls/whatever. Drooling is much more associated with those sites for sad lonely old men than true love is.

I also know that I overreacted on some "moral-panic" posting (done after that the incident was sorted out) on that thread and I apologies for that.
