Well, it's fine now. Hopefully it persists.

All good things come to an end I guess.

Thanks again for all you do around here, Tom!
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

SSH on port 22? I wonder if somebody REALLY goofed up routing at some hop...luau wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 6:41 amYet I can ssh to the instance with no trouble or lag whatsoever and have been able to do so the entire time.GilmourD wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 6:21 amIt's weird that it's intermittent...Bradley-Jazz wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 5:41 amAll pages seem super slow right now, not just the home page (which was the case for me yesterday)
My guess is a sour, but not entirely rotten, node in a cluster somewhere.

Yeah, it works great and has throughout this entire adventure. In fact, up until this morning it's the only way I had to access the machine at all because that's my preference and it's generally sufficient.
At least all the wiring is okay.

I didn’t think it were possible to visit this site more frequently, but the will it/won’t it jeopardy has got me hooked like a fruit machine.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

I've submitted a ticket with Digital Ocean as my bag of tricks is empty. Sorry for the inconvenience, everyone.

Still very slow for me. I’ve been in a place with not-great internet for the last several days and attributed it to that, but it’s still happening at home.

Yeah, I just got a white screen of death and "ERR_TIMED_OUT" as I tried to open this very thread, even though I just downloaded a 100GB file at several hundred mbps. And no, I was not actively downloading the file at that moment. I just mean to convey that I have had some very robust evidence in the last hour that my connection speed is just fine.

Ha, we used to value long uptimes as badges of honor, but these days not so much.luau wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 7:22 amAll good things come to an end I guess.Code: Select all

Just found this thread after several days of thinking there was something wrong with my account!

Still crazy slow for me. Took me five minutes just to be able to moan about it right here. Bumming me out.
And another couple minutes to edit out the typos.
