Yes Doug is back .... back from the future or at least from what was the future and now is the past ...
during his sabbatical :
- he climbed mountains that had roads and a kiosks at the summit
- he mastered the art of the one hand clap but forgot to record the event on mag tape
- he learnt to play the bagpipes
- he spoke to holy men who gave him the wisdom of the world as well as supersizing his fries
- in the twighlight hours he spoke with Leo Fender, a 24 year old drive way assistant in a gas station in Tulsa
- he discovered that 3 minute noodles can take up to 4'30"
- he learnt that a full gas tank of fuel will only get you so far, the rest of the chassis, axles, wheels and engine etc is required to actually drive somewhere
- he was advised that using the pickup line "mine is an offset" in not a sure thing on a saturday night
- he took a course in home furnishing design at the local university but failed when he refused to use any colours other than OW, FR, DR, LPB, FG, SG, BMM, 2TS & 3TS in his projects
- he noted that those who stray will eventually find their way back to OSG
welcome back Doug
