I agree, I visited the other fourum on accasion but never posted. I think the 50 posts is totaly fair "hey you gotta pay your dues before you pay the rent" I posted a bunch my first day. I love this place, it's full of people as sick as I am! can't wait to get to 50 and trade some gear with you guys!
It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

Is it okay to be post-padding if you have MORE than 50?

I'm curious, (and new) how does this site pay it's bills?

(I posted this before I realized there was 4 pages...oops....

So I didn't see the figures on what it costs to run a web site)

Once a year, Jay gathers up the spare change he finds down the back of the couch.

I think this forum is great, and helped answer alot of my questions. I'm very happy that I happened to chance upon it when I was looking for some information on offsets. 50 posts as a pre-requisite is perfectly fine for me.

As a side note, Aug does great work, and is genuinely a very nice guy!
