OK... Never made it to bed... πŸ€ͺ

Here's the cover I test printed (yes, I'm still refining it) next to a Classic Vibe cover sitting on top of a Vintera Modified set, which have covers matching the AVRI covers I put on Daphne.

Image

I need to make the ears slightly larger, throw the filament in the dryer box, and tweak the X-axis jerk settings so the corners are cleaner, but it's close.
That's awesome!

Even if you're not particularly a Lips fan, they would be great to have for experimental purposes!

It's going slower than I initially intended but I'm working on all sorts of variants of them, including other pickup types.

If you want to experiment just put the strat pickup under the regular Jazzmaster cover.

I'm not really sure why people are insistent on mounting them under a cover mounted inside another cover with a hole cut/routed in it.

Well, Drozd's own JM is like that. But, also, it gives you flexibility, especially if you aren't just sticking it in the center with the poles through the holes, like in the pic I posted in my previous reply, which also gives me a baseline for creating versions for Tele pickups, mini humbuckers, and other non-JM pickups.

I was thinking more in terms of using alternative pole-piece pickups, such as the rails seen here, or whatever hole-less mustang/emg-esque designs floating around. These pickups would leave a strange looking pole-piece void with a regular jazzy pickup cover.

It's barely noticeable.

No worries, champ.

It certainly looks better than some of the needlessly hacked up Jazzmaster covers that have been posted lately.

Did some hardware relicing and artwork while I wait to accumulate all the parts.
