Dan, since you are in the thread: is their a bridge you recommend to replace your mongrel/tele bridge? Looking for something with adjustable saddles to fine tune the intonation.
I typically don’t use any six saddle bridges, if that’s what you’re asking.

I find intonation on the three saddles to be fantastic and pretty close to perfect

Other than a Hardtail/ Thinline style bridge… I don’t really have any other options to offer

*thumbs up*

My G string is a bit off. Maybe 15 cents or so. Could be a change of string gauge.
I was wondering if there's an aftermarket bridge you recommend for individual adjustment. I will have to look around. Thanks.

My initial instinct when I saw prices climbing was that new sellers saw people taking a flyer at $3500-4000 and assumed that was the going rate, like when there were several Staytrems listed at $300... but based on sold listings it looks like some (the more rare models - Telecaster Deluxes and Thinlines, offsets) are moving.

They're still cheaper than Fender Custom Shop guitars so it's hard to say anyone's getting a bad deal (aside from Dan who could charge much more but if he's happy with his rates, kudos).

My take

I actually never intended for them to sell for as much as they’re selling for right now.

BUT:

We have closed all orders indefinitely. We are unbelievably overwhelmed and currently have 2 yrs worth of gtrs to build

So… Because you can’t get them. Some people are willing to pay more to get something that’s currently hard to obtain

And then if/when they trade or sell… They go to recoup their cost and it goes even higher

Any interest in letting me come and apprentice so I can make my lifelong dream come true? :)
