Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

It's amazing how bad it sounds.  I might put the humbucker back in, nut it's just temporary untill i have the skrilla for new pickups.

I think it needs to be pink.  Or maybe a nice chartreuse sparkle?

I'd just leave them there, as a reminder of sorts  :)  Two WRHBs will be real cool in there. Is that one the full scale, or 24"? It might actually be neat to use a hardtail  Strat bridge. But then you really would have to fill the routes. Take some pics along the way!

on that note, and totally ripping off the idea, I made this a couple nights ago, and has had me creaming my jeans at the prospect of someday owning/building it:

the cavities certainly do sound a problem, though!

NIce one!  The tele bridge/pickup combo is the only bridge pickup sound that I really like clean, so obviously that would be my first choice, but the daunting idea of essentially rebuilding the body makes me think twice...  I have the trem blocked ATM, and will probably keep it like that until I stumble across something better.

Also- it's the fullscale version.  This'll be my baritone when it's done, which moves my butterscotch tele to "rover" position...
