What color would you like to see from Wildwood's next Thin Skin Jazzmaster
This is my attempt to petition for a 65' AVRI Thin Skin in Fiesta Red from Wildwood. I truly like the current 65' model....dot inlays, bound neck, matching headstock, nitro...etc. What colors would the OSG group like to see? We got our Charcoal frost
The last time Wildwood did Fiesta Red was around 2008 I believe. I'm not sure if some of the colors in my poll are CS only, but I tried to use colors that have not been recently done.

It would really be the cats pajamas if they did lake placid blue AND sherwood green AND ordered them with block inlays.
Never happen though

I'm not a fan of the block inlays, but if I was Fender has that new anniversary series in a lot of good colors.Mechanical Birds wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 5:20 amIt would really be the cats pajamas if they did lake placid blue AND sherwood green AND ordered them with block inlays.

Graffiti yellow, Tahitian coral, or Taos turquoise.

So far all of the 65 thin skins have been metallic colors, so I’d love to see Sonic blue or Seafoam green for a change of pace.

Sherwood green is overrated; it's even available in the Fender Mod Shop now. How about candy apple green, or lime green metallic?

Candy apple brown actually sounds like it would look amazing.dylanafghjkl wrote: ↑Sun Apr 22, 2018 5:50 pmWe want candy apple brown! We want competition antigua! San marino beige! Charcoal mint!
Personally, the Sherwood green original AVRI's were what had me lusting for offsets when they were announced in the late 90's. I had no idea it was offered in the mod shop. That is enough to satisfy me. Go ahead and have your crazy coloured thin skins

The Sherwood Fender has offered in recent years is a bit different from the one in the late 90s/early 00s -- it's a lighter hue. I guess it's closer to the original color they did in the 60s, but not quite a perfect match. I prefer the darker AVRI62 color, it's more of a metallic Forest Green.
