Case/gig bag for Squier Bullet Mustang

Post by Packrat » Mon May 14, 2018 3:57 pm

My first short scale guitar (Bullet Mustang) will be here soon. I need a case or gig bag to go with it. I haven't been able to find any measurements online. I know it is short scale, but is it any shorter in overall length than a Strat or Tele or other guitars? Just wanting something that is a decent fit, nothing fancy.

Teles should be 38 3/4 in. (98.4 cm.) overall, while Strats are around 39 3/4 in. (101 cm). Now, despite the shorter scale, Mustangs are... 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.).

Of course, measurements may differ a bit depending on the built, but a "Mustang gig bag" is a marketing trick, because it fits very well in a regular gig bag. For info, a Les Paul is 39 in. (99.1 cm.) long.

Perfect, thanks. That means I can pick almost anything.
