Warmoth-style adjustable Mustang bridge confirmed, as expected from earlier publicity shots. Beefier saddles with ridged edges than Fender's earlier version of an adjustable Mustang-style (0081239001).

Maybe it is the Warmoth bridge ?

The bevels on the height adjustment screws look sharper, and the spacing between saddles is tighter, but it's hard to say.

Some images like that below show the Warmoth as having more similar screw bevels and consistent spacing to the Hybrid than the above one. The top of the post mounting holes is very similar between the Warmoth and Hybrid, which are slightly different to other bridges, so I'm leaning towards them both coming from the same source. But we're verging on cork sniffery. ;)

The tuners are locking Kluson-types, and the strings are 9's... blechhhhh on the 9's...

The fit and finish are exceptional. Fretwork is excellent. Rolled fingerboard edges. Satin back-of-neck with a gloss headstock. The knobs feel like American knobs, not the overly-small and pointy previous-Japanese versions.

More to come.
Rolled fretboard and Satin neck? Those are killer features.
Yeah the glossy neck and the orange tinted head stock were the things that would really bother me if I were considering buying a guitar. Would love one of these in Sherwood.
Same, those are both features I absolutely adore in a guitar. That Sherwood Jazzmaster is killing me.

Firebot,

Can you comment on the thickness of the neck? I’m really interested in this line, but worry that the neck may be to thick (deep).

I'm interested to know too however for the opposite reason: I love 50s-style Tele necks so a Jaguar with that kind of profile would make me very happy.

Ok... got it into the airport, on the flight, through customs (no questions), home, and reassembled. The guitar was well-protected in its bubble wrap, and arrived still in minty-new condition. I had an extra AVRI tremolo and a Mastery bridge (sorry, not a floating-bridge-kind-of-guy). Everything just dropped-in perfectly. I haven't had the chance to play it through any amps, as the baby needs sleep. That will come.

The neck... Its not super-thin or super thick. It's pretty middle. It feels great. The craftsmanship is first-rate.

That looks like the perfect version of Sherwood Green and the specs are just right for me. If they had released it a year earlier, I would have just bought the green Jazzy instead of building my own.

Out of interest, what is the E-E spacing on the original bridge ?

Thanks. The Warmoth modified Mustang is spec-ed at 2-3/16" (55.6mm) = 2.187". Yours is ~2.173" (55.2mm). I reckon that's probably a match.

Firebot, how are you settling in with your Jag? Was it worth the effort?

Yeah... its a great Jag. The neck is awesome. It has the best electronics I’ve ever found in a Japanese Fender. The fit and finish are superb. It was cheap for what it is. I’m very happy.
