Re: Fender Vintera line?
i have dicover this look like a 60 th without the fretboard block
the 60 th 1000
vintera 800
seems advantageous for those that don't like block ?
i haven't all the specs but if they are delivery with av65 they are good guitars
also lpb !

Re: Fender Vintera line?
So has anyone seen one of these in the wild yet? All of the sites selling them “new” list it as a pre order. But I’ve seen several “show room floor” models pop up on Reverb that use language like “will ship next day or same day” but it’s boilerplate so I don’t know if they just copy pasted that from another listing or if they really mean it. I’m jonesing hard for either one of the Jazzmasters in Olympic White or IBM.

The Vintera Jazzmaster are available at all the big online shops in Europe . The normal one are already sold out for the moment at Thomann but they have the modified versions .tune_link wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 7:29 amSo has anyone seen one of these in the wild yet? Some other shops still have the IBM :

I played a Vintera LPB mustang and it was great. Felt like AVRI quality, neck wasn’t overly lacquered. Very impressed!

Played a Vintera tele yesterday, the neck was a total baseball bat, way thicker at the first fret than my 50s classic telecaster. Weird! I was expecting them to be nearly identical instruments.

Haven’t played or seen any of the Vintera offsets yet but I played one of the new Classic 60’s Strats and wow...Fender Mexico has seriously stepped their game up recently. Had a big handful of a neck and the finish looked and felt awesome. I played it against an American Pro Strat and I honestly preferred the Vintera.
I also nearly left the store with a Player Series P-Bass, which also looked and felt amazing. Kudos to the Mexican factory, I’m sincerely impressed.

I played the “Vintera 60s JM modified” - it was just alright, nothing really special. I feel a different bridge would make it play better but at that price point I’d rather get a Japanese Fender.
Maybe the neck just isn’t my thing cause I’m used to playing a 7.25” radius strat. There was a lot of fret buzz but it was probably just poorly set up.

Yeah I’m kinda surprised to hear all the glowing reviews. I’ve yet to play a Vintera anything yet but got to try out the AO Jaguar and Jazzmaster and the 60s Lacquer ones and all of them surprisingly felt like shit
Excited to try these new ones

Re: Fender Vintera line?
The differences between the vintera mustang bass and my MIJ reissue are negligible. Almost the exact same instrument beyond a slightly larger neck in the vintera (though really really subtle). If you’ve ever played an MIJ, it’s basically the same thing (in a good way)!

I love my MIJ Mustang Bass. Glad there are more options for that model now.
