I’ve been dying for a lh one of those for so long. Now you can finally get lefty mustangs, but they’re way too expensive. Want a nice old Japanese copy.

A couple more..

So apparently, these were made by Mr Kiso Suzuki, a Japanese violin and guitar maker back in the 70s. Im expecting top quality here, and im pretty confident that's what im getting.

I’ve confessed I actually like truss adjust at the heel (so idiots have to think about it before messing with the rod) but I think bullet is the best way to go otherwise - easy to extract or notch to adjust, if the Allen grooves are stripped.

I like the way they look too :D

I think the adjust at the heel looks the best.. But how can you do fine adjustments without the strings?? You'd have to keep taking the neck so you can get it right

I mentioned I think the bullet looks cool - but yeah, I do think the headstock looks *best* bare. Basically I'm patient, and record the degree amt. I turned the rod. If I over-did it, I usually turn half-way back the way I went, 'half-way' being a diminishing quantity with repeated adjustments til relief is somewhere satisfactory.

(Truss rods are just something I'm unusually picky about - I hate when someone before me screwed up/stripped the adjustor using metric/non-metric/worn tools etc. Having a giant slot at the heel that is less likely to strip, and making it inaccessible/invisible to people who aren't looking for it is a bonus as a result.)

I prefer heel adjustment, but bullets are a close second.

All others look ugly to me.. 😢
