I've probably had 100 NGD's since I last posted one of these, but this one is (I think ) a keeper. Been looking for a new #1 for a while and really fell in love with G&L's after getting my first Doheny last August (now long gone). IMO, the craftsmanship, quality and sound are unmatched at the pricepoint- they smoke Fender's similarly priced options.

I've been super curious about these special MFD Jazzmaster humbuckers since G&L teased them about a year ago. A super clear and defined Jazzmaster pickup that can be single coil, series and parallel in EACH pickup?!- yes please. I briefly tried one of these when they first came out and loved it. Incredibly versatile. This is typical if not better quality than my last Doheny- perhaps because it's from their CLF research division.... It's the best sounding and most stable guitar I have... and look at that burst!

Ooooo.... They went full F100 with the controls. Fucking nice.

Yep, loooove those F100 mini switches. MFDs work great as humbuckers. I like this even more than the regular Doheny. It has more G&L DNA in it.

Because of the CLF series, I was able to obtain new colored switch tips for My F100

This is a thing of beauty. Getting away from the traditional Jazzmaster has really calmed my shallow/OCD nature about the G&L headstock.

Congratulations. I'll be tempted on one of those when they start offering more finish and neck profile options. I like G&Ls but the "regular" Dohenys I tried didn't measure up to expectations. This V12 version might.

I too was holding out for another color run or perhaps a custom shop V12, but this will do just fine. I’m a burst convert I guess...?

And the quality on these are next level. It feels like a step up from the already solid Doheny.

Body is Oukeme

Neck is Caribbean Rosewood (the striping is really cool)
