just updated my Sea Foam Green 60s Traditional Fender Japan special run mustang with a new lightweight alder SHORELINE GOLD body from ToneBomb in Canada. they did an awesome job on the body and paint.

Thanks! I put the old body on reverb last night before I went to bed. got the sale notification when I woke up this morning and it's already been shipped off. buyer had a 65 lefty neck that they have been looking for a body to complete a build. can't wait to see it.

I want one, but the prices are eye-watering. I regret selling my KC Mustang, but it only did one thing well that I used it as a backup for, and I sold it for a ridiculous profit. Still miss it, especially the neck, but want to play with those silly single coils more.

It looks so sharp and clean, the perloid pickguard and the black pickups/knobs/switches without looking overcrowd. Great choiche.
Is the finish nitro or poly?

thanks, I'm really pleased with everything about it. poly finish. they sell unfinished though so you can always DIY in nitro.

I hear ya. I got mine new a year or so before they closed down the first factory for $600. I got what I paid for it and used the money to build my Jazzmaster but they have skyrocketed in price!

Congratulations again - DIY paint / coating finishing is a job I don't know to do, not tooled to do, worry to do, afraid to fail...
