The shape isn't really my thing, but man is that bridge ever a beautiful piece of hardware.

I have a Cutlass and that bridge is absolutely fantastic. Feels great, works great.

MusicMan quality is a stunning thing.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I just noticed the price tag of 3k...that’s pretty steep with so many good guitars out there. I’m sure it’s quality, but man

I was surprised at how not good the Music Man things have been that I’ve been able to try out. They all just felt like the necks were ripped right from a bunch of affinity strats, shit fretwork and all.

I wanna try good ones tho! I’ve wanted for a long time to get one of the original Stingrays but that’s probably never gonna happen unless I find one for less than like $400.

The guitar the thread was made for looks awesome !

This runs counter to anything anyone has ever said about Ernie Ball Music Mans, especially the necks (necks are the most important feature of their guitars). EBMM will take back a new guitar and fix it; if there was a fretwork issue that somehow made it out of the factory they wouldn't let it stand. Are you talking about the pre-Ernie Ball era?

Or maybe the OLP overseas made stuff? I'm mystified as well, Music Man has a great reputation for quality across the board and everything I've seen absolutely corroborates that.

I'm a little bit surprised by how different it is from the Ibanez ORM-1, but I guess enough time has passed for Omar to get into neck pickups and vibratos.

No it was definitely the more-current stuff, including a couple Sterling Guitars and each one just felt like shit. They were all in the same store✊ So it wouldn’t sound too crazy to assume they hadn’t really been set up.

I tried the blue Saint Vincent at Guitar Center in Pittsburgh and it felt great tho so who knows

Interesting that both the St Vincent and this one is a modified version of the Albert Lee shape.

It's kind of Musicman's "Strat" I guess in that way. I like how it's starting to have its own legend and be a bit more "modern" looking though. Kind of legitimizes some of the wilder body design concepts from the 80s or whathaveyou.

I like the Albert Lee guitar quite a bit. I'd like the blocks on the neck a lot more if they were not 'Gibson block style.'
