Cool!!! Here's hoping for Maverick/Custom reissues! Is it weird I kind of want a Katana reissue?

With them bringing back that split pickup for the electric xii, they'd be nuts to not reissue the Maverick. Especially since Eastwood shit out their crappy version of it already (wow, what a surprise, they slapped a jag trem on yet another guitar that never had one)

To be honest, a lot of their moves in the last year or so have been fantastic for this community.

1) First American-made Mustang with a Dynamic Vibrato in 4 decades
2) Affordable B&B jags (hell, B&B jags, period)
3) MIM offsets in classic colours like OTM, Sonic Blue, IBM and new colours like tidepool
4) MIA offsets in new colours like sonic grey and penny
5) Ultra JM with their first ever noiseless JM pickups, and it even has an actual JM vibrato
6) New* offset shapes like the Sixty-Six and Meteora
7) The first Electric XII reissue ever, and it's at an MIM price point
7) 1- and 2-pickup Swingers!

*if you count scale replicas of 57 year-old basses and production models of prototype shapes from 10 years ago, which I do!

It honestly doesn't even feel completely far-fetched at this point to imagine them releasing a properly-shaped Marauder II reissue at some point.

This feels so weird as a longtime offset player who had to import a Jag from Japan (my '94) just to get a guitar that was blue, rather than white, red, or sunburst, from the one model that was in production anywhere in their lineup. Is this how strat players have always felt? I mean, minus the urge to play 5-minute pentatonic scale solos...

Mostly vintage correct. The body design actually looks better than the original.
Veneer fretboard, 7 1/4" !!

They have the market cornered - MIJ hasn’t been a bargain for a while.

I’m happy they used the three-saddle bridge and not some mongrel.

Maybe they’ll do the Bass V these were originally built as soon

I've owned an original Bass V. It's curious and cool to look at but believe me, NOBODY NEEDS this, or would play it.

That would be awesome!! I actually had never seen a Marauder II and I quickly realised where Bilt got their design for the relevator upon searching lol

I hate you guys..

I went on reverb this morning, and noticed a price drop..

So I pulled the trigger on the black 2pu model. I have money headed my way in the pipeline, and was gonna plunk down on a guitar anyways. This ended up saving me some in the long run, but goddamn I’m running out of space for all my guitars.

Super hyped though!

Mr. Yoshio Nomura was appointed to supervise, and analyzed the actual machine owned in 1969 and added it to the present age. A novel 610 mm short scale neck with 22 frets, while maintaining the original Swinger Bridge design. It is equipped with two single coil pickups and is designed to support a wider range of music. There are five color variations by Nomura's selection. Like the original, the “Swinger” logo on the headstock comes as a sticker rather than a printout. Made in Japan's first Swinger, an unprecedented combination. This is a new product that attracts all guitar fans.
