Hopefully some cool shit.

It’d be dope if they did American Original Starcasters and Coronados. Sparkle Squier Super Sonics would be awesome, honestly just bring back the Vista line in general and add a JagStang maybe?

I don’t have high hopes but who knows maybe there’ll be a nice surprise or two.

If Fender could just once reissue one of their old guitars with the original pickups and specs, it would be appreciated

Isn't that way the Modern Player Starcasters were?

Are we talking only guitars? In the pedals world, EHX is about to release a Big Muff with presets and a digital audio interface and DAW integration, a double Pitch Fork with presets and a big version of the Oceans 11 similar to the Grand Canyon delay.
Danelectro brings a reissue of the Back Talk delay and a Foxx Tone Machine clone.

Nope. Modern players were made in China.

Oh yeah. Also interested in any progress updates on the Big Ear Albie. I like the concept a lot.

the JHS guy just did a big video on the recent history of Danelectro, and apparently the Back Talk v.1 has been going for huge prices on the used market, hence the reissue. i didn't realize (m)any of their pedals had developed quite such a following, but apparently that one has - :o

I have absolutely no idea who that pedal is for. Someone who wants an analog fuzz but wants to divert their signal chain to a DAW at that point in their pedalboard?

The presets are a cool idea if they're part of an analog signal chain. If the pedal is sending you through AD/DA conversion within the pedal, I just don't trust EH to do that at an EH price point in a way that will sound good.

It’s a hardware host for a plugin, and the effect it’s hosting is a digital model of a Big Muff?

I won’t say nobody will want that, because a few people likely will, but definitely not me.

That's odd. Reverb has them listed as Mexico on their spec sheet...oops. If they do make a Mexican version, I hope they throw a Jazzmaster trem on them in their new mash up line or whatever they are calling it.
