Squier 2024 Line Up (partially?) released

Post by MayTheFuzzBeWithYou » Fri Jan 19, 2024 4:12 pm

According to this Tonebomb article a limited edition of Classic Vibe models for 2024 has been revealed:

Including a Matching Headstock 60s Jazz Bass in Olympic White (which looks very sweet)

(That‘s it for the offsets, no mention of Jaguar, Jazzmaster, Mustang, Toronado or Duosonic models…so far)

But there is also a Sherwood Green Tele with Matching Headstock and a Neck Humbucker

(also available in Black)

A more traditional 60s Tele

And of course Strats too (HSS in that case)

So far also no Precision or Mustang Bass.

Nothing of interest for me except for that Jazz Bass. But I guess more will come, so let‘s see! :)

What do you think?

From how the articles I've read are worded, I think these 6 are all this series is getting.

I’m hoping that this is just the “limited edition” portion of their new lineup. Would love to see an early 60s Jaguar in metallic colors and no matching headstock. I don’t think you can get one in the whole Fender lineup right now, which is odd.

I love the Jazz bass. I'd like to see that in more colours.

Damn, I was hoping to finally see a Mustang in Olympic white as this is a classic color but Mustang's in this color have not been available (atleast in Europe) for apparently decades except by Fender Japan. I wonder why Fender has a negative attitude towards this color when it comes to their classic Olympic white guitars like Jaguars and Mustangs.

I just realised it even has neck binding! :w00t:
Is this the first D&B Squier? At least with white binding? There was a contemporary Tele with black binding once.

If this is all there is then my hopes of the Venus finally being reissued have been dashed again.

I think these are maybe just the FSR-Models for this Year.
Hoping for a full new Paranormal-Series.

And I was hoping for a "seventies Jazzmaster" in the same spirit as the CV70 Jaguar...

(gratuituous photomashup)

Would love to see a squier Coronado with like 3 versions as they did with the starcaster, a squier powercaster with jazzmaster trem would be amazing same with a toronado with trem!

Would be nice to have a starcaster with the correct bridge as it’s just a standard hard tail mounted on a plinth!

I’m very interested in that green Tele.
