good luck
Thanks, I'm going to work on it til' I get it right, and if I don't, then I get a set up

Thanks man, I just made some outta paper, and it works fine. If I push it it creaks to one side, but I won't be doing that in normal circumstances. I'm working on the action, and saving for a mustang bridge ($0 so far
).

There's a 60 day warranty on it from the store, I'm going to take it in. What should I tell them to do?

Well, I feel it's pretty evident that it suffered a traumatic fall. Does it actually "creak", as in make a noise? Cuz if that's the case, return it, man.

It didn't creak when I got it. Also, I just sold my only guitar for it, and I'm keen on keeping it.

put it back together as well as you can, take it back and inquire about the creaking, if they are a reputable shop they should at least take a look at it and see if they can fix it (dont tell em you took it to bits) or offer a refund. If you have to get your $ back dont worry there are others out there. I just got a CIJ for $500 in fantastic shape, keep looking. or at least get them to do a decent set up if its not cracked. Mark
