It's been the same for about 18 years, works fine once you get the hang of it. Keeps the server size down and the board fast and free.

Nice collection...almost every base covered there. Speaking of Base/Bass - what are you feeding the Ampeg these days?

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
I got a Mexican Standard P-Bass 5 or 6 months ago for $400. Put some Duncan Quarter Pounders in that a buddy sold me for cheap and put on a Hipshot Hi-Mass bridge. It's running through a board that's a TU-2 -> Nobles Mini OD-1 -> EHX Bass Clone -> Tronographic Rusty Box -> Amp
I guess I should include the two bass register instruments in their own picture... The other one is a newer Dano Baritone that I put a Jeff Senn 3-saddle bridge on and made it into a Bass VI. The tuners aren't really meant for E - E tuning, but well, I made it work...
All that's missing in this thread from me now is my acoustic, which is a 2020 Gibson G45 Standard (one of the ones before they put in the stupid side port.)

Very nice collection!!! Does anybody know, if the body of the Jaguar Bass has the same shape and dimensions as the electric XII (only with a wider neckpocket)?X-Ray Spex wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 12:09 amThat's really weird, surely he's breaking some sort of reseller rules with that?punkkid364 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:58 amThey’re Mark Hoppus signature Jaguars. He’s been ordering them from Fender and selling them on his online store.sal paradise wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:29 am
What’s the story with those basses? They look awesome. I’m not normally one for showy things but they are calling for me.
Linky
Also is it just me or do the body shapes look a bit ''off'' on his online store pictures?

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
Haha I think the same has been said about me many times. I replaced an SG with the Greco and, in terms of a double cut, it is so much more playable and comfortable up the neck. It's really kind of a strange guitar, but the stuff people say about the Maxons is only 42% hype. They are really sonically rich and lovely pickups.

Technically another category update, since for some reason despite 2.5 years I haven't snapped these together before?!

American Professional Jaguar in antique olive
Vintage Modified Jazzmaster Baritone in bright green burst
American Professional Jazzmaster in mystic seafoam
American Professional II Jazzmaster in dark night (you know full well I instinctively almost put a k in there every time...)

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
Maybe its just me, as I've never heard a jag with humbuckers, but that don't look right to my eye. Full disclosure, I find most modified Fenders with humbuckers to be aesthetically meh. That's 100% me though. Those who like em, hey more power to ya. I think it has more to do with a weird dislike of humbuckers in general. I might have to force myself to buy a humbucker equipped guitar like a LP or something along those lines. Yes, I can fully admit that I'm a doofus for OE equipment or at least retain the original look. But Soapbar and P90's to me just sound the best to my ear. Feel free to roast me. I definitely deserve it hahahahaa
