How does the Greco jag sound and play ?

They are super rare round here
it plays incredible. i have never played an american jag, i could not know, but compare with my cij jag (Q series) the Greco Jag are way way better.

These are some of the guitars that I have. The is a 74 Precision, 2007 MIJ Jazz, and two AVRI Jazzes. The most recent purchase is the black Jazzmaster and I have had the bass the longest, since 1993 ish. I think all guitars should be black and have thought about refinishing the MIJ but haven't the space to do it.

In most circumstances I really dislike black guitars. I am having my Fretless J Bass refinished to purge my collection of that colour.

...but, each to their own ;)

Haha. The advantage of black guitars & drum kits is that you can wear any-coloured clothes, have any stage lighting, any snare drum, pickguard or strap and they will match your guitar/kit. Black goes with everything.

Now let me end this post by saying that I do not, and do not intend to ever, have any black guitars or drum kits. BORING. (I do have 1 charcoal fade snare drum, if I have to use a kit that is a weird colour then that snare will match it!)

Not the best shot to show my collection - but I feel kind of lucky for my home office. It's just over a year that I work remotely, and now that spring is out I can keep all my guitars on the stand without being too worried about temperature drop/humidity.

From front to back:
2008 American Standard Tele
2006 AVRI '62 Jag, Lollar pickups + Mastery
2016 Custom Shop '62 Jazzmaster
Pawn Shop Bass VI (not sure how old, got it second-hand a couple months ago)
Squier VM Bass VI with rosewood fretboard + Staytrem and AVRI '62 pups

My first and only tube amp: A '98 Mesa Boogie Rocket 44 which needs proper maintenance badly, though I managed to clean all pots last week and got it back to a manageable background noise.

My pedalboard is not visible but right now I got: FFC The Accountant, CBA Brothers+Condor, Strymon El Cap + Flint, Phase 90 and EHX 720. Looking for a Deco and OBN Dark Star Pad to complete it.

Got some storage bins for my misc parts and junk that were spread out on the floor in the guitar room. With the amps and guitars I pulled out to sell, it is way more cleaned up. I even set up a desk up here I can work at when kiddos are driving me nuts. :D

The dog likes the window fan. The three on the floor I am giving away to some friends who have kids that want to learn guitar. One guitar, one amp, one strap for each kiddo. :)

I have not seen an SG that colour before, it really suits it.

Thanks. It is a Jeff Tweedy SG. They made them for a short time in 2012. I think they call this color Blue Mist. It is like a darker Pelham Blue. It is my favorite modern SG variant, and told myself I would get one someday when I first saw one at a Sam Ash in 2012. They were quickly discontinued, they say only 300 were made, and prices climbed out of reach. I was searching for a SG Standard a few years back and found this one sitting on the local Craigslist for only a few hundred more than a used Standard. It felt like it was meant to be.

Nice score man!

I'm not much of an SG fan myself, but that one just looks a bit classy to me or something. Maybe it's just the common red livery you find SGs in that doesn't appeal to me.
