Omg!
Care to give us a rundown of what these are?
Very nice.
Sure!
As it is from '60 it actually has a monster r9 neck. After '60 the necks slimmed down tremendously.JSett wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 1:22 amVery nice.
That Coronet/Wiltshire/etc...does it suffer from the same thing that SGs have where it will bend out of tune just by moving with the neck in hand? I love the look and sound of them but if they do that same thing SGs do then it's a hard 'no' from me. I have an offer outstanding on a mid-60s one that's been tempting me but that is holding me back.
Wowzers. That’s like the ultimate collectionterminalvertigo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 6:32 amSure!

Yeah, I've read they get thinner (and the mid-60's ones have a lovely narrow nut). I find that SG's, because of how they attach at the heel, will warp in tuning just by bending down to twist a pedal knobterminalvertigo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 6:33 amAs it is from '60 it actually has a monster r9 neck. It's a beast!
I genuinely don't know how he makes it work. I felt like I had to have the grip of a baby bird to not warp the tuning. I tend to grip pretty hard and wrestle my guitars a bit but even testing SGs at home, and trying not to, it still did it even when I was basically holding it like a Fabergé Egg
Did you use your normal set of 12s? I feel like that could have something to do with it.JSett wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 11:13 amI genuinely don't know how he makes it work. What’s the story with those basses? They look awesome. I’m not normally one for showy things but they are calling for me.punkkid364 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:06 am
Here are my newest offsets, all purchased in 2022 or 2023.
They’re Mark Hoppus signature Jaguars. He’s been ordering them from Fender and selling them on his online store.sal paradise wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:29 amWhat’s the story with those basses?
