Re: Post pics of your guitar family
My first post on this forum, here goes...
L-R: '69 ri mustang, Epiphone supernova, '01 SG Special In Teal, '72 tele custom ri, '05 SG Standard
My Epiphone Dot with the supernova pickguard on it
My oddball acoustic. Don't know an awful lot about it the seller said it was built in Paris somewhere 80 to 90 years ago, only set me back £50

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
cheers haha, I like it messy. The acoustic sounds great, almost has a banjo like tone with just the right amount of sustain but the playability is horrible. The action is so high i use it mainly for playing slideTonebender wrote:Welcome, I gig that old acoustic, your bedrooms an even bigger mess than mine!

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
Forgive the awful photos.
The acoustics: 1990-ish Epiphone SQ-180, 1978 Guild D25CH with an LR Baggs M1, 70s Yamaha G240, wee Yamaha Guitalele
Some electrics: CIJ JM, Classic series 72 Custom reissue (just bought this today!), Gibson 61 RI SG, 90s Epiphone Dot Deluxe with 57 Classics
More stuff: Harmony Rocket refinished terribly, Squier CV Jazz, Harmony Stratotone/Montgomery Ward/Roy Smeck thing, Squier CV Tele Custom
This is all I've got at home right now. At my practice space I have a generation 2 Univox Hi-Flyer, a 1996 CIJ Jagmaster, an El Maya (Gibson) Marauder copy, a 1986 Ibanez AH-10, an 83 Squier JV Strat, an Alcivar Flying V (Ibanez Rocket Roll rebrand with a pretty boss homemade anodized guard). I also have a Fender FB-58 banjo, an 18" Kay archtop, a Pan/Aria OM-size acoustic, a Norman B20 and an Art & Lutherie Cedar. Lastly (I think) are my other basses: a 1984 Squier SQ Precision (my birth year and my favourite instrument overall), a Music Man Sterling, a Squier VM Jazz and an Electra X710 (again, I think) Outlaw. I think that's everything.

Out of interest - what pickguard is on the red jazzmaster? I'm going through the "my pickguard is so white!!" phase, and contemplating getting a mint coloured one. I've got a candy apple red cij. Nice collection btw.

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
The white balance in those pictures is pretty awful (I got it in my head that I needed to take a 'family picture' and then couldn't find a proper camera-- my Blackberry is sorely lacking in the camera department)-- it looks parchment, but it is mint. The pickup covers and knobs are quite dirty, but they're plain ol' white.
And thanks!
And thanks!

The vit-nage (and japanese) ones; Norma, Truetone-rockstar, Bruno-Conqueror (jag-bass before there was a jag-bass), Kent-Polaris II and Teisco Delray-Tulip:
The offsets (and pretend offsets); Holliday-Bobkat, Truetone-Rockstar, Bruno Conqueror, Partsmaster Jazzmaster (squier neck, CP tremolo, AVRI bridge and pickups, all-parts guard, handmade body) :
These are my Step-dad's (Gibson SG-100, Holliday Bobkat):
There are a few missing, all but one of which are floating around the forum already- my new Harmony Monteray hollow-body acoustic.

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
Weird, for the first time in like 4 years I've only got one guitar:
I'm looking to get a Toronado or lower end Gibson Firebird within a month though.

Looking forward to adopt some Offset children as I figured I'll get along with those just fine .
