My wife Jan and my music room. Always in flux as various guitars come in and out of their cases.

I'm starting to feel like I'm out of control.
L-R // Squire J. Mascis JM, CPJM, Squire Bass VI, '97 MIJ '62 reissue Jag, 2003 MIJ Jag, Pawn Shop Mustang Bass, CP Baja Tele, Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker, Jaguar Bass
That's 9... starting to think I should find a mustang for #10.

It's really fun. I've farted around with pickup configuration in so many ways and always had trouble being satisfied with the sound. I think I'm happy with it now, now that I've gone back to the original blacktop neck PU + similar GFS bridge PU. I might put aged white pickup covers on it.triviani wrote:Nice trio! As far as playing it goes, I always have fun and enjoy it. Sometimes it can sound a bit too much like a bass or piano even with those long-ass strings. but you can noodle or play chords and it is definitely a guitar, not a bass.

Re: Post pics of your guitar family
My first post. Not all of the guitars, but the ones currently in rotation.
On the left is a Vintage 65 jag [omg, I love this guitar]
Slipping into the shadows is a Bottom Master.
Up front is an LP SmartWood.
On the right is a Kramer DMZ that now that I swapped out the pickups that came with it [crappy EMG's] for Lollars, it's a total favorite.
These 4 cover most of my bases right now [except for my need for a rocking JM].

Thanks! Been having some fun with this group… Kramer + strat tones is really pretty awesome…making me want to explore a quality strat...

I will eventually figure out pictures here, but this is an album of all my guitars (excluding two low quality acoustics and the Squier VM Bass VI that I got about three hours ago, haven't gotten any pictures of it yet).
