(i know you were just pointing out that it's not a very precise copy)
+1

Kinda reminds me of the old Japanese copys

If they're less than $300 shipped I might get one. They look nicer than a Jagmaster I think...

I'd be wary about the quality of the neck and well... everything. I've had a chinese strat copy pass through my hands before and it wasn't very good at all. Looked ok but felt like it had been dipped in plastic, everything was cheap and nasty and it was soon history.

Hmmmm. It sure is a funny looking thing. Kinda like a subtle caricature of a regular JM.

Does this mean we'll be talking about mij's, mim's & mic's soon?

The only part I'm really interested in is the neck. If they get that right they could be on to something. Admittedly they didn't start too well with the big head (which I kinda like).
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

I would've never thought there was a market for Hagstrom Viking ripoffs. The new ones aren't too expensive, IIRC.

I like the "Go Home" button on their site.  ;D

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

Well, considering the real ones are now made in China too...

Still not for me... must be our LAN here at work.

As for the neck... it kind of looks like the truss adj is up there, which is a no-go for me buying one mainly for the neck.    :(

the huge headstock has a certain allure to it. I love the club-like headstocks from 66-71 or so.
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

I think it's more than likely that if anyone here bought one of these, they'd end up regretting it. It's one thing to have factories in China that are doing contracts for companies like Squier or Danelectro, where they have some level of accountability and quality control.
It's another thing with set-ups like the one here. The quality might be good or might not - if it's not, what are ya gonna do? Send it back?

from what I gather every person I have known to buy a chinese copy of anything was initially annoyed by the poor set up on the guitar, then the pups were terrible as well.
It's not like the guitars are cheap because parts of the same quality as american guitars can be had for cheaper in other countries.

Everyone needs to be very, very cautious about buying one of these.  The guy at my local guitar shop was telling me about these.  They are doing most of these copies illegally and if they catch you importing one into the US (not sure about other areas) there is a HUGE fine for it.  Apparently they have got their hands on all of Gibson's and some Fenders body designs and everything and are producing really really cheap knock offs and all the companies are PISSED!  Just be wary of what you buy from there.

You've been warned.
