Geez... Really?    I did not notice.  ::)

Man, I don't mean to be rude, but do you really wish to continue this argument? I think it's rather pointless, so I won't further comment.....
......and I will not edit the title either, it's correct as it is, IMO.

If a mod here think it's important to remove the word "offset" from the title, well please do!

I should probably stop too.
It seems as if I have spent the past few days purely getting into pointless arguments with people  ;)

I don't like the headstock (it's hockey stick or nothing for me if you're doing a 12-stringer) and we've gone around and around about the faux relic paint scraping, but I like this one:

This reminds me of a Custom Shop JM with a Strat hardtail bridge that I have photographed somewhere. The first thing that jumps out at you when you see a profile shot was how low into the body the pickups have to be when you don't have the strings passing over the high JM bridge.

*edit* Found it!

I think the surfcaster's look pretty cool but they have a typical Charvel feel—giant frets and an ultra flat fretboard radius— if I recall correctly.

I've never played a Surfcaster, but what I don't like them is how square the corners of the body are. Most of the appeal and comfort of the offset body is in the smooth radius... continuously curving, if you will.

It seems to me that the squared off and bound edges detract from the comfy feel of the offset, as well as the looks.

Edit:  Same with the squared-off angular guard.... as far as looks.

IIRC, all Nash does is put together the guitars and finish/relic them - all the bodies and necks are from Warmoth.

You neglected to mention the bit about charging an arm and a leg for the work.  ;)

well yes, that too.

I'd love to be able to make a living from attacking strats with belt sanders ;)

That being said, that's a much better looking sunburst than you're going to find on any AVRI.

You probably offended several people here with that statement... >:(  I love my sunburst AVRI JM!

sorry, but i have to agree about the sunburst... it´s much better looking than most new fender bursts, not including the ones found on the CS bass VIs, which are  :?

i think this is one of the better looking nash creations i´ve seen. apart from the headstock, the weird placement of the switch, and the "arm wear", i think it looks pretty good.  and that red XII looks really good.

but i would never ever buy one.

It's the arm wear that always ruins Nash's efforts, IMO. The matte finish looks good but the sanding on the top edge just isn't a natural looking wear pattern at all.
