Nice but I wish they would stop moving that damned trem closer to the bridge! I liked how the original used to fit in my hand the new one just feels awkward...............In my humble opinion...

Do you know if it makes much difference to the actual action of the trem having it closer to the bridge? I have no experience with the moved trems so I can't comment, I love the silky action of the vintage trems.

I must admit, thats the only thing thats slightly putting me, maybe the hotter pickups too......although I don't wanna jump to conclusions til i've tried em

I really wish they'd done a sherwood green one though :(

I might get one of these if the price is right. My Jag is just kind of irritating, I like it but I can never get it quite right. I'd like to try one out and maybe see if it would be worth getting one. The moved tremelo might make things better. I just wish they would do one thing: Sonic Blue!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll probably be picking up one of these or the marr jag if the candy apple red color is how I imagine.. The closer trem position doesnt make much of a tonal difference when you have the original style bridge imo. Most of the guitars that have been released with the newer trem position have a tune-o-matic style bridge and everything about that style of bridge changes the way the string will resonate, so I think thats why the modern trem placement has gotten a lot of negative feedback . A jazzmaster/jaguar with the closer trem but original bridge will sound closer to the classic jazzmaster/jaguar sound than any regular jazzmater with a tune-o-matic bridge and people dont seem to mind those too much.

More excited by these than by the Marr jag, to be honest. I really love those hotter pickups. And it looks really damn cool!

I have not tried one of these CP with the tremolo closer, but on my Jaguar I would say that a lot of good things come from the vintage specs. Some of the overtones, and ghost notes, and vibrations... good vibes you know :)

No, they didn't. Lake Placid Blue, Candy Apple Red, and Burgundy Mist are the finish options.

9,5 is the main "fault" of all 'Thinskins' as well.

These look killer IMO but Marr is maybe a bit better, works for me at least.
But can't justify new expense. :fp:

Why does "Unique features" Sound a lot like "Things we've ruined" to me? (except B&B ofcourse)

Unique Features: Bound fingerboard, block inlays, hot pickups with fatter tone and more output, new neck pocket cut provides better pitch, trem plate moved closer to bridge to increase break angle and sustain

So close to being perfect. If only it had normal Trem placement and vintage radius :(

That would left the Custom Shop out of Jaguar orders..
