Is it not fairly obvious that the bridge picture is just a photoshop??

Re: Mid-2012 Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster Jaguar Musta
You know, it's crazy, 2-3 years ago I had to BUILD my own Jazzmaster because Fender did not make one that was under....oh say...$1000! And none of the stores had one locally.
I had to sell my Jaguar HH and my amp to buy a Fender Mustang that I could actually play first.....
Before that, it was waiting 10 years for a Jaguar, and then missing out on several auctions and buys till I got the modified one I have....
It's crazy as I was dreaming about these EXACT guitars for years to come around. Now we just need Basswood Squier Jag-Stangs, and Eastwood to copy the Hondo Paul Dean II models, and all my top favorites are affordable and in production. If only these had come out around 2000.

Has anyone heard if everything will be to scale like if I wanted to add a bridge mute and bridge cover? Also, a new Jaguar tortoise pick guard, will it line up?

If the VM Jags and JM's are anything to go by - or the JMJM for that matter - AVRI guards should fit.Spitfire7 wrote:Has anyone heard if everything will be to scale like if I wanted to add a bridge mute and bridge cover? Also, a new Jaguar tortoise pick guard, will it line up?

What is a JMJM? I dont really understand what you were saying. I did get the last part guards should fit. Cool.
Well we figure these are probably coming from China. Question is does the Chinese hardware and pick guards match up with American made for the most part?

if you would like to be able to edit, post in the questions/comments section and ask someone to fix your account.
it's a board bug that makes certain users unable to edit.
that seems like an eminently reasonable course of action, unlike, say, making comments that add up to "im doing this even though the solution to the problem has been given to me and fuck you if you don't like it."

Judging by the 9.5" Fretboard radius, I think I'd like to throw a roller-TOM bridge on one of these.
Should I be looking for a US-TOM bridge, or a metric one meant for imports?

Re: Mid-2012 Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster Jaguar Musta
I am using the GFS roller bridge on my thinskin JM (9.5 radius) and I had it on a Squier JMJM for a bit as well. Really nice bridge for the money and I have yet to break a string with it on! The GFS has the larger posts which I think is typical of import TOMS. I don't use the thimbles, I just put the posts in the JM thimbles... they slide right in. You can't really change bridge height, but fortunately this put it at just about the height I like it anyway.Treefingers wrote:Judging by the 9.5" Fretboard radius, I think I'd like to throw a roller-TOM bridge on one of these.

I also called them and he told me yep 100% real and set to launch mid summer. He didn't know anything else about it. I asked if parts would line up and match and he said seems like they would but you never know with squire lining up to American made.
