Yeah, sorry. What I meant was that your* post seemed completely sensible & factual to me; I don't understand why someone would suggest there was something druggish about it. Carry on.

* edit: "your" = savofenno's, not croatan's. Maybe I'm the one on drugs.

Thank you for straightening this out. My sentences do in fact become strange sometimes, when i am in a hurry. Too bad i still can`t edit my posts to make them easier to understand, when have time for editing.

No, you are not on drugs! My strongest drug is dark coffee, since early 90`s because of health reasons. Transplanted kidney and alcohol does not mix well.

I can`t see that edit button in my posts. I am member in numerous sites of different types, och can edit at all sites - except this.
I can`t post images either.
I use Firefox, latest edition. Must i use that obsolete Explorer here, which still exist, despite dinosaur`s of same birth date are extinct since 60 million years?

A former bandmate of mine is the number one guitar guy for one of our favorite music gear e-tailers and he confirmed to me last night that his particular company placed a sizable order for the Mustangs, Jags and JM's. They are very real and in about seven weeks we will begin to see them.

Hi savofenno. There's a bug with the forum software that results in certain people being unable to edit their posts. There is no requirement for a specific browser.

Just post a thread in the "Questions and Comments" section of the forum about your lack of an edit button and one of the moderators should be able to fix up your account so you can edit your posts.

Also - Your English is much better than my Swedish :)

Cheers,
Andy.

Most excellent....did the company possibly have the intials MF? They didn't stock enough JMascis Jazzmasters and they are still on backorder. :derp:
Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe

No, but said e-tailer is definitely in the same league as Musicians Friend. But they were woefully unprepared for the JMJM onslaught too.

Wow. I hope that tailpiece string width to bridge string width is figured out before we get 'em. You would just about have build your own saddles to make this mess work. :wtf:

I'd gladly give up 1/2" of authenticity for the sonic and practical advantages of a steeper string break, not to mention the reduction in tension.

But that's just sayin'.[/quote]
Listen to the Trashmen's "Surfin Bird" album. I think most of us would be satisfied with the sonic advantages of the vintage trem location. I understand the playability issue of the relocated trem, but I would gladly accept the 1/2", and it's accompanying quirks, because it's what's "right". I'm just sayin'.

That pic you attached cannot show anything wrong. But that pic was here earlier, showed the bridge too, and that bridge was off-center, misaligned, and saddles were placed much narrower than how strings come out from tremolo. Some strings (both e`s) were falling off from saddles.

But i believe production models will have all this well corrected!
