I have a Squier Telecaster Custom II P90, it`s pickups are definitely not any Strat pups.
Not to put down any VM Strat pickups, which are alnico and quite good. That Tele you put into your post has real Tele bridge pickup.

There is Rakuten and Ishibashi net shops in Japan. They ship gladly to Europe too. They have English text too in their webpages for buying guitars from them.
Only second hand though, right?

Ishibashi have new and secondhand items. The FSR Mustangs are about 40,000 yens new and are very recent so I doubt many of them are available secondhand (I've never seen one anyway).
Also, Rakuten is not a shop but a web service/front end for many different shops (not just music stuff, almost anything).

just to calm people down, i recently got a squire cyclone thats made in inonesia. it only needed a fret level. otherwise it was awesome out of the box. i think there is way too much coating over the wood. if you're looking for that woody tone, well you should'nt be looking at squier in the first place.
That doesn't sound too good to me :wtf:
Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe

So excited for these, would've loved a black finish + tort guard option tho'. Meh, still getting one...or two :) Good job, Squier.

Well, I have to say I'm excited by these. I have a Squier Indonesia neck and it's a fantastic neck, although you wouldn't have known it until you put a new nut on it. But sheesh - I bought the Squier '51 on sale at the store (cherry picked for the neck feel), took the neck off and sold everything else on Craigslist and for about $35 I ended up with the neck. I can deal with a new nut for that.

These Squiers are a great way for people to get their hands on Fenders; the key is, I think, to make sure there isn't anything wrong with the basic design parameters that can't be fixed by the buyer if necessary. I mean without major expense - ANYTHING can be fixed if you have enough money, but that's not my point. If you have to replace a nut, or pups, big deal at that price.

CAR Jaguar in my future; count on it.
My tunes can always be found at https://hearthis.at/tyrannocaster/

Just had to chime in here and say that I'm sad the Mustangs are 65's and not 69's. Still anxious to see one of these in a guitar store near me.

Kurt Cobain colors, '65 slab body, with modified pickups and neck. I don't mind because my '65 is my favorite but I always want other color options.

Definitely not. I don`t smoke or drink at all, forget those heavier poisons alltogether. :fp:

Please what was wrong in my post so i can learn from my mistakes. Thank you in advance! :D

I don`t think these new Jazzmasters will get some J Mascis pickups. Already existing VM Jazzmaster pickups are very good, my guess it will be them in new VM Jazzy! 8)

There is other opinions too. All Squier models do not sound the same. Your mileage may vary.

i think one guy mistook your passing familiarity with english sentence structure as a manic drug fueled post.
then someone responded to him, telling him that his question about drugs was a "non sequitur" meaning it was a comment that didn't make sense in the conversation. non sequitur is latin for "does not follow"
"To you whose souls are lured by noise to every treacherous abyss, for you do not feel for a rope like cowards, and where you can guess you hate to calculate. And where others would poison, you dismember." -Nietzche/Nation of Ulysses

Yeah, sorry. What I meant was that your* post seemed completely sensible & factual to me; I don't understand why someone would suggest there was something druggish about it. Carry on.

* edit: "your" = savofenno's, not croatan's. Maybe I'm the one on drugs.
