Jag headstocks have always been a bit larger... more like a 70's Fender headstock. Jazzmasters have the more traditional smaller Fender headstock.

I'll get the sonic blue jazz and trade you the white for the tort.
white on sunburst is yuck. lol. i'd have to have a black pickguard. i was thinkin about the sonic blue also. is it really that white in person tho? on google every sonic blue guitar looks so damn different that you cant get a clear idea of it

I think 3TSB with MINT PG looks very, very good!

Diabolikal1 wrote:I hope the sonic blue jazzy isn't that whitish colored. Squier's surf strats in sonic blue and surf green are a gross, washed out looking color from the photos I've seen . If so, it will definitely be getting a refin.
Here's surf green & sonic blue from the VM line.

In photos and in life are different things...i have a 50`s Classic Strat in surf green, looks excellent and the color is powerful, not bleached out by any means. I have seen Sonic Blue Surf Strat in a shop, very nice color, and it goes in fact well together with mint, tort and gold pickguards!

Wow the blue looks very greenish if you ask me...
But the lighting seems very yellow though...

I hope they make a lot of these. I can see these getting back ordered like crazy. The Modern Player Marauder still isn't in stock most places.

Still, the sonic blue seems to have a lot of green on it

The sonic blue almost looks like surf green, and the surf green almost looks like seafoam green.

I was thinking the same thing, and to be completely honest, I'm cool with that.
