I was surprised to see Nils Lofgren bust out a Jazzmaster during Neil Young's set from Fresno the other night. Crazy Horse has been a Les Paul dominated band for decades, so it was cool to see Nils shake it up some.

Molly Rankin and Alec O'Hanley of Alvvays. Alec also has a sweet black Jag and Molly mainly plays Duo Sonics.

so i was always super into soccer team and the aquarium on dischord records. so when i heard that jason from the aquarium was going to join soccer team, i was excited.... then i seen he was playing a jazzmaster

He only plays when it makes sense to play instead of playing all over the track for the sake of playing, leaving space for other players and the music. I think it's a pretty admirable attitude to have.

I love this picture because if you asked me who I thought this man was, and knowing nothing about him, I'd probably say guitarist of the Bad Seeds.

Ben Verellen - Helms Alee
Met him a couple of years ago in Dallas; super nice guy. They opened for Russian Circles and in my opinion blew them away. He and I talked building pedals and amps for a while; this guy knows his shit for sure and makes some killer gear. Plus he has the stage presence of a viking war god.

Even though she's not my typical type, (and not playing an offset) I'm in love with their drummer Hozoji
