Which Pickguard for SURF GREEN Jazzmaster

Just got the body for my new Surf Green Jazzmaster

and can not decide which pickguard:

Red Tort:

Orange/Gold Anodized:

Mint:

White:

Red Tort looks ace coz the surf green is really really greenish

Gold/orange would look better on daphne blue I guess..

Hmmm any suggestions ?

I voted mint, but 9 times out of 10 I'm thinking of black anodized. Plain aluminum might also look nice on that guitar. I don't know how much of a PITA it is to take off the gold layer.

I already have the TMJM with black anodized pickguard - but I've never seen aluminium? (besides the shielding)

might be difficult to get aluminium pickup covers for non wrhbs...

I'm still torn between mint and tort tbh..

Tort!!! Maybe it's kurt cobain influencing me, or maybe its just because thats the best colour combo and everybody else is wrong. Go tort!

Red tort gives it to you both ways -- red and green are supposed to be the "most clashing" colors to the human eye, but Surf Green and red tort go together like the classy combo of a red brick and oxidized copper building facade. You get trashy and classy all at once!

Trashy and classy at once. Now you're making me want a surf green lady! That said, the gold anodised guard has a similar vibe, kinda clashing and in your face, but as its gold its sorta classy. Surf green and sonic blue are both such 'out there' colours, they seem to go well with loads of different guards.

Trust me, aged white looks BEAUTIFUL... I'd show you a photo of mine Surf Green Jag + aged white combo, but my phone camera sucks. Anyway it isn't even white, it's kind of beige, yellowish tint. Looks awesome.

Mint/aged white for first place, gold for second. I didn't think it could possibly look good, but it does. Plus, it's not that common, makes it more of an eyecatcher.

I voted for white but after seeing the Tort & Gold I dunno? Tort goes great! Gold is Rock n Roll with that Green Body!

I think I'll go for tort as it brings out the green more

still waiting for some parts to arrive until I can fully assemble it and I'm changing my mind every hour haha
