Is this a good price?

This maybe isn't the best place to put this, but I thought it would have been inappropriate in the other forums.

I just walked into my local guitar shop, and they have a mint S/H CIJ Jaguar in CAR with matching headstock, and mustang saddles. They said the guy is looking £350 for it - is this a good price?

I'm seriously GASsing over this one, even though I know my AVRI beats it hands down, and I don't need another guitar. I could kinda afford it if I stretched myself...

Judging by UK standards, which I guess are similar to Irish prices, I'd say it's an excellent price.

Whether you need it or not is a different question, one only you can answer.

I've decided not to go for it. I know it would be great to have, and it's a really nice guitar, but I really don't need it. After last night's gig it became evident that my money would be better spent on a tuner (!)

that always reminds me of Buzz from the MElvins...he once ssaid "I don't bother to tune up after a while...being out of tune adds to the chaos!"

:D

normally it does for us! However, last night my normally stable JM managed to go a semitone out during one song, which was not too good. Since we kinda pride ourselves on never stopping the noise in between songs, it was kinda embarrasing to have to stop playing, and tune up :S

That's an excllent price, £150 under RRP, and the saddles are upgraded, sounds like a good buy
