Ah, I'd definitely disagree there. Being a Squier is one of the things that made it cool to me! I like that it was very deliberately designed as a platform for modding. A Fender version would be less appealing to me.

As for the colours - I think the burgundy looks cool (especially the slightly purpler version of BMM that these came in) and I loved the matching headstock, to the extent that I'm looking at getting a bass in that colour scheme. The red is much less interesting to me. For the bass, I think both ocean turquoise and sunburst suit it well.

Does anyone have a tracing or digital templates for the bass? I think that would be a killer short-scale bass...

Anyone know the going rate for the guitar these days? I have one and am low on cash at the moment... Excellent condition in a hardshell case but I did do a few wiring mods: 3 way switch, coil tapped humbucker. Also upgraded the neck pickup - avri 65 jag in neck. I have original pickup too which I will include. Could also just put it back to stock. Anyway, was curious what you all thought. Located in the US.
