The guitar, after being refinished, would scratch a lot of itches. That said, it does all about everything my cyclone does for me. I know I'm in the minority, but I prefer a strat trem. I can see where this guitar, if offered in different colors, would be successful. I am interested to see what that humbucker is about. most descriptions are vague at best.

i'm kinda drawn to the bass more than the guitar but not liking the p-bass pickup, i'm thinking it would look a lot better with a mustang bass pickup in there with an aged white pickguard! possibly reverse the pickup too to match the original bass v layout! the p-bass pickup just doesn't look right!

Just wanted to post this close-up, reminding me why I have serious gas for a burgundy mist guitar

Google image search "burgundy" below, why is burgundy mist called
burgundy mist? It should be called purple metallic.

Seems like Oldsmobile were really into mist colours back in '59
8 out of 14. Not bad.

The Jag has the coolest upper horn and the Mustang has the coolest lower. This doesn't do it for me.

Doesn't that combine into a strat?
