Mine has been removed and put back several times. It's fine. Sure, it hangs out there against the cable. I reach down and grab that wang and wang on it alll dayy looong. Dig?

Shove it back in and be happy.
Today is a good day to die.

I pulled mine out a few times and it was okay. It's not like it's suddenly going to broken or anything. I do leave it in when I carry it in its case now, but I must say that it annoys me. There are people that have never had problems leaving their regular Fender vintage and reissue trem arms on in the case-- but I was never one of those people.

I don't have a clue how it works with the Mastery vibrato. Is it the same as in the OEM unit?

If it is the same, just don't take it out too often and it will be ok. If it becomes too loose, open it up and tighten the socket slightly and you are ok.

If it isn't he same, I can't really help you, but I am fairly certain that taking the arm out once will not make any difference.
We got people playing stringed instruments! It's the end of days.

It won't hurt it, but yeah, just leave it in!

You've completely ruined it, you've blown it. You have to get a Stratocaster now and screw the arm in. You can't be trusted with anything nice.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Never had a problem taking my term arm on and off. I'm not crazy about leaving it on then having the case press against it all the time.

I leave mine in all the time and have for years. I don't understand how anyone could think it could cause a problem. When you close the case it just very slightly pushes down on the bar which actually decreases string tension on the neck a bit. Seems like a pretty safe way to store the guitar in my opinion.

Woody recommends doing it that way for that exact reason.
